Hi, my name is Ben, I'm 13, I live in Scotland and I like to work with natural materials.
The materials I use are either recycled, foraged or sustainable.
Recycled
Untreated sanded pallet wood,
Small branches from recently felled trees,
Sustainable
locally sourced timber offcuts of
untreated larch, which will last up to 15 years outdoors.
Foraged
Locally foraged moss from a plentiful supply,
Shells and drift wood from Fife beaches.
I am working towards building my own tiny house so I can be mortgage free as a young adult. As I work, I’m saving the money I make for materials, while developing my woodworking skills for when I come to building my home.
